For those who often take the shots without properly positioning their phone or camera, here is a useful tip that lets you quickly rotate the photos without any 3rd party photo editing tools. It’s available on all Windows editions, from XP all the way to Windows 10.
Open File Explorer on Windows 10, or Windows Explorer on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, navigate to the folder and select the photo you want to rotate.
Then, click the Manage tab in the Ribbon, under a section called Picture Tools containing two buttons that will do the job for us.
Clicking Rotate left or Rotate right button will turn the selected photo 90 degrees around to the left or right, respectively. The result will be saved immediately. To undo the change you just made, simply do the opposite action to rollback.
Depending on the size of the photo you are trying to rotate, it may feel slow to see the result right away on the screen. Click once and wait to see the result until you hit the next one.
Alternatively, you can also right-click the image file and choose Rotate right or Rotate left option from the context menu.
It even supports the bulk change by selecting all photos first before clicking on the Rotate left/right button.
